Learning Objectives: Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 1. Gain functional knowledge of a variety of commercial HVAC control systems 2. Build expertise in identifying and describing existing mechanical room control systems 3. Develop a control system sequence of operation 4. Be able to interpret energy code compliance for HVAC control system 5. Be able to document and specify selected DDC devices and controllers as part of a system retrofit 6. Develop preliminary schematic design for a Building Automation System (BAS) upgrade 7. Produce a BAS points list 8. Develop a BAS upgrade cost estimate 9.
