Learning Objectives: Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 1. Use the language's sound system for clear speech 2. Understand the basic grammatical structure of the language 3. Use and comprehend a broad vocabulary in the language 4. Develop conversational skills in the language 5. Read extended texts in the language 6. Write brief texts in the language 7. Understand the interrelatedness of language and culture 8.
