Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate keyboarding skills with accuracy for notes, rhythms, scales, arpeggios and simple chord progressions including cadences at an upper intermediate level. (CLO 1.2, 5.2, 5.3) 2. Demonstrate correct voice leading and resolution, harmonization, transposition, and improvisation at an upper intermediate level. (CLO 1.3, 1.5, 3.1, 5.1) 3. Demonstrate realization of simple figured bass and lead sheet notation at an intermediate level. (CLO 1.2, 1.5, 3.1, 5.3) 4. Sight read a simple 2 part piano texture at an upper intermediate level.
