Learning Objectives: By the end of Spanish 203, successful students will be able to: 1. Participate in conversations sometimes involving complications and asking questions about familiar topics using sentences and strings of sentences (Interpersonal communication - Intermediate-mid) 2. Give a presentation on a variety of topics including personal experiences and interests, academic topics that require some research in the target language, and can provide an opinion on a topic (Presentational speaking - Intermediate-mid) 3. Write and state viewpoints on a wide variety of familiar topics using connected sentences (Presentational writing - Intermediate-high) 4. Understand the main message in various time frames and presentations on a variety of topics and follow the main idea of overheard conversations (Interpretive listening - Intermediate-mid) 5. Understand the main idea of texts related to everyday life and personal interests or studies (Interpretive reading - Intermediate-mid) 6.
