ES 243 - Native American Studies: Contemporary Indigenous Issues
Associated Term: Winter 2021
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course the student will: 1- be able to look at, and understand, current social phenomenon, using the framework of historical and social context. 2- be able to differentiate between personal opinion and the science-based information found in the cannon of ethnic studies. 3- know how their cultural values, personal values, and beliefs shape their worldview . 4- know how to apply the concepts, themes, theories, presented in the class, to their lives as active citizens
