Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1- Choose effective positive guidance techniques to use with a variety of children. 2- Use observations to assess the progress of young children and propose emergent curriculum plans to support learning. 3- Analyze elements required in creating a successful Circle Time with young children. 4- Evaluate small group activities and learning centers that promote playful inquiry and discovery.
