MUL 205 - Design Studio
Associated Term: Spring 2020
Learning Objectives: 1.1: Assess new design job 1.2: Determine customer’s needs, ascertain and obtain all information and assets within timeline for deliverables. 1.3: Communicate project plan with client via Creative Brief for approval. 1.4: Discuss with co-workers and get feedback. 1.5: Acquire all copy and images, do research on subject, check all content for verification, copyright information and citation as needed. 1.6: Find design solutions and defend them, integrate other relevant points of view as needed for best outcome 2.1: Assess public interface of media created. Understand responsibility of being a media-maker. 2.2: Get multi-cultural viewpoints on advertising campaigns and graphic message. 2.3: Assess impact on a diverse community of consumers. 2.5: Work with others and experts as needed to vet messages and get proper feedback before going live on the web or to press. 3.2: Attempt multiple ideas to achieve communication goals of project. 3.3: Use computers and other resources to produce final product. 3.4, 3.5, 3.6: Get feedback from instructor and team. Respond to feedback with amendments. Get feedback from client. Make amendments until completed. Debrief with instructors and team. Get final feedback from clients.
