Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Develop the student’s ability to draw the human figure. 2. Develop further the student’s awareness of and understanding of form in light and space through use of human figure as subject. 3. Introduce to the student an awareness of the human form as the key source for our understanding of form and form relationships in the historical development of art of Western Man, including all phases of design, as well as most abstract art. 4. Develop further the hand-eye-mind coordination skills needed to represent the human figure, the most complex and endless form of ideas. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: |
