Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1- Identify and define key issues and related program, division, college, workplace, state, and federal policies related to physical therapy practice. 2- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the physical therapy clinical environment using proper and current workplace etiquette, format, and content, modifying approach to meet the needs of the diverse audience. 3- Evaluate/self-assess one’s own skills, abilities, and attitudes related to the physical therapy career field,reflecting on prior work history, successes, failures, and obstacles throughout the process. 4- Think critically about workplace performance practices and expectations and their impact on others. 5- Apply learned skills in preparation for internship and employment in the physical therapy career field.
