ART 220 - Documentary Photography
Associated Term: Fall 2018
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Understand how to select a topic for the format of documentary photography. This is based on both the history and contemporary lectures associated with the course. 2. Demonstrate how to structure a photo story by doing comprehensive research for the topic that has been selected. 3. Understand how to structure a workable timeline and create contacts to complete the necessary images through access. 4. Understand how to create a shooting list that is essential to create a strong narrative. 5. Demonstrate shooting, editing and presentation of the completed story.
