Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Have an introduction to the field of ethics and law in human services. 2. Have an introduction to professional and ethical behavior in human services. 3. Learn about ethical dilemmas and legal requirements which might present themselves in the field of human services. 4. Learn a framework for making sound ethical decisions. 5. Examine personal values, attitudes and behaviors and how they may impact professional work in the field of human services.
