Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Identify and describe in writing, the principal and secondary uses, advantages and disadvantages, chemical and mechanical properties of each dental material studied. 2. Prepare each material in a manner demonstrates its normal setting time, strength, and durability. 3. Demonstrates the operation of lab equipment properly, safely, and efficiently. 4. Perform all laboratory skills assigned with 75% accuracy. 5. Select the correct equipment to accurately manipulate each dental material. 6.
