Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate keyboarding skills with accuracy for notes, rhythms, scales, arpeggios and simple chord progressions including cadences at a basic level. 2. Demonstrate correct voice leading and resolution, harmonization, transposition, and improvisation at a basic level. 3. Sight read a simple 2 part piano texture at a basic level.
