Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of youth issues, as well as a variety of treatment approaches for addiction and criminality. 2. Demonstrate the ability to think critically. 3. Develop the potential correlations between dysfunction in individuals and/or families and youth substance abuse. 4. Recognize stressors that may affect adolescent development growth.
