CG 211 - Dreikursian Principles of Child Guidance 1
Associated Term: Fall 2016
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Understand a frame of reference, principles, and skills for improving adult and child relationships. 2. Understand the application of the principles and skills discussed and implemented in the family counseling sessions. 3. Have observed interactions of children in the Center playroom and considered the behavior in terms of dynamics. 4. Appreciate the importance of a cooperative relationship between the home, school, and community in relation to the mental health of children. 5. Engage in experiences to test out knowledge of principles and skills.
