Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Develop a career development plan 2. Demonstrate the incorporation of principles of learning when educating others 3. Use technology appropriately, efficiently, and effectively for course assignments, self-assessments, and peer and instructor communication 4. Explain historical impacts on contemporary PT Practice 5. Explain education and credentialing in physical therapy 6. Describe and define interventions and expectations for the PTA 7. Describe and physical therapy practice patterns, the health care team and consumers of physical therapy 8. Describe the Americans with Disabilities Act and its impact on society 9.
