RT 146 - Introduction to Clinical Respiratory Care
Associated Term: Fall 2015
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Be able to locate clinical facilities and respiratory care departments 2. Understands roles and professional responsibilities of respiratory care practitioner 3. Demonstrates professional qualities of timeliness, reliability, and inter-personal communication 4. Meet hospital requirements necessary for participating in patient care during clinical rotations. 5. Describe and discuss ethical considerations in the practice of respiratory care 6. Understand and articulate the legal aspects of respiratory care practice nationally and in the State of Oregon 7. Understand and articulate the role of the respiratory care practitioner in today’s health systems
