Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Demonstrate the skills to carry out and record the details of objective observations for a variety of purposes. 2. Explain various types of observational techniques and the values of each. 3. Demonstrate a better understanding of children’s behavior through direct observations. 4. Describe the importance of observation skills for evaluating the growth and behavior of young children. 5.
