Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Describe the developmental characteristics and needs of students 2. Identify the multi-faceted components of classroom management 3. Analyze appropriate and inappropriate classroom behavior and identify supportive techniques and solutions to problems 4. Demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills 5. Examine school and district policies pertaining to classroom discipline 6.
