ART 213 - History of Photography 2: 1910-1950
Associated Term: Summer 2014
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Understand and discuss the historical context of photography. 2. Understand and discuss the effects of photography on class awareness and the developing awareness of other societies in other parts of the world. 3. Develop the necessary information literacy skills to make use of online tools for research and communication / collaboration with students and instructors. 4. Be able to discuss photographs critically, examining qualitative aspects of images and how those aspects might have influenced the effectiveness of their use.
