Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the successful student will be able to: 1- Perform simplification of logic circuits using Boolean algebra and Karnaugh maps. 2- Employ binary addition, two’s complement math and the use of a full adder circuit. 3- Use flip-flops in discrete counters, JC counters, IC counters and the design of synchronous circuits. 4- Perform programmable logic devices operation and CUPL programming sequences. 5- Fully understand memory devices, including ROM, EPROM, SRAM and DRAM.
