RT 148 - Advanced Placement Clinical Practice
Associated Term: Spring 2013
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Maintain proper clinical records 2. Achieve a minimum rating of satisfactory in all areas identified on the Professional Performance Assessment 3. Demonstrate competency through successful review of skills as indicated by desired placement within clinical program 4. Develop proficiency in all skills through repeated practice at the clinical site. 5. Participate in therapeutic and diagnostic modalities with documentation of observation, or assisting with, the following: Monitoring of Newborn Mechanical Ventilation, CVP / Pulmonary Artery Catheter Monitoring, Arterial Line Monitoring, Bronchoscopy Assisting, Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep disorder testing 6. Attend monthly clinical symposium on campus.
