Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the vocabulary for each of the areas: signed numbers, integer exponents, multi-step formulas (including variation), algebraic expressions, cartesian coordinate system, linear equations, quadratic equations 2. Demonstrate the ability to solve problems using: signed numbers , integer exponents, multi-step formulas (including variation), algebraic expressions, cartesian coordinate system, linear equations, quadratic equations 3. Analyze and solve problems using a variety of problem-solving techniques including patterns, tables, graphs and spreadsheets. 4.
