Now it returns to Eugene Opera in a cast of exciting young American singers under the musical direction of Andrew Disantz. By turns somber and light, this magnificent music captures both the drama and comedy of the classic tale of the seducer and his effect on the world. Mozart's unparalleled psychological insight makes this opera as contemporary to us as it was to its first listeners over 220 years ago. There will be a no-host dinner before the performance.
