This class will introduce students to basic wheel throwing techniques; each student will be loaned a potter's wheel for home use. The workspace for the wheel must accommodate the wheel's dimensions (23 1/8" x 27 1/2" x 22 3/4"). Instruction in setting up a home workspace will be provided before the start of this class. Students will sign a loan contract; the wheel will be delivered and picked up at the end of the term (local residents only).
