Prerequisite: Minimum reading score of 68 (Accuplacer) or 241 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR minimum writing score of 64 (Accuplacer) or 226 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR RD 080 OR RD 087 And EL115 OR Prior College. Comprehensive skills necessary for the fabrication of metal products. This course builds and advances skills previously learned. Instruction and practice in blueprint reading, shop fabrication techniques, shielded metal arc, FCAW-G, and gas tungsten arc welding is provided. Safe lift truck operation training is also provided in this course.
