MTH 095A - Intermediate Algebra: Part A
Prerequisite: MTH 065 or equivalent course completed with a grade of "C-" or better within the past two years or placement by the College's Math Placement Process. This is Part A of a five part, individual credit sequence of courses that when completed are equivalent to MTH 095. MTH 095 provides a foundation for MTH 097, MTH 105, MTH 111, or MTH 211 or MTH 213. If you have taken a higher level math course than MTH 095 and passed the course with a "C-" or better, you may not use this course for your degree/certificate requirements. This course reviews the topics of polynomials and factoring and extends the topics to cover several variables. Each new topic incorporates review of previously learned skills and application problems.
