| XFL 0601 - Foreign Language, Understanding Basic Structure and Common Phrases |

This course will introduce the Student to approximately 300-500 vocabulary words, including common conversational pharses and topics such as: simple conversational phrases such as introductions, greetings and leave takings, asking and giving directions and telling time.
This class will emphsize proper pronunciation, listening comprehension, spelling and elementary verb conjugation and grammar. Students will explore cultural knowledge throughout the language acquisition exercises.
