Prerequisite: Minimum reading score of 68 (Accuplacer) or 241 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR minimum writing score of 64 (Accuplacer) or 226 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR RD 080 OR RD 087 And EL115 OR Prior College. Introduction to the construction industry. Economic and environmental influences affecting the construction industry are discussed. Current tools and materials of today's industry are introduced.
Occupations in the construction field are explored as well as professional opportunities for construction graduates.
