SPAN 101 - Spanish, First-Year
First-year Spanish is a three-term sequence beginning the study of the Spanish language. It includes elementary vocabulary and covers the basic grammar of the language. The emphasis is on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture. These courses must be taken in sequence. This five-credit class includes four hours of classroom instruction and one hour of interactive lab per week. The lab is administered outside of class. Tests may be administered outside of class.
