MTH 097 - Geometry |
A course in informal geometry covering the study of lines,
planes, polygons, circles, solids, area, perimeter, volume,
surface area, Pythagorean Theorem, congruence, and similar
figures. Applications and exploration of geometry topics
rather than proofs will be stressed. This course is the
geometry prerequisite for MTH 112, and 251. It is one way to
satisfy the geometry prerequisite for MTH 211. Scientific
calculator required.
