HE 209 - Human Sexuality |
The course focuses on increasing one?s knowledge and
awareness of sexual health issues to make informed
decisions. Students explore and discuss biological,
psychological, and sociological forces that contribute to
the development and expression of one?s sexuality. Topics
include, but are not limited to: female and male sexual
anatomy and physiology, sexually transmitted infections,
fertility management, conception, pregnancy, and childbirth,
sexual coercion, sexual dysfunctions, gender roles, sexual
attitudes of the past and present, and culturally influenced
sexual behaviors and customs.
