PH 211 - General Physics with Calculus
This sequence of physics courses is required for engineering and physics majors. A strong emphasis is placed upon problem solving and generating and evaluating mathematical models of physical systems. This first course of the sequence introduces mechanics, linear and rotational motion, force, and momentum. Graphical representations, mathematical modeling of systems, and problem solving skills will be emphasized.
