PH 211 - General Physics with Calculus |
This sequence of physics courses is required for engineering
and physics majors. A strong emphasis is placed upon
problem solving and generating and evaluating mathematical
models of physical systems. This first course of the
sequence introduces mechanics, linear and rotational motion,
force, and momentum. Graphical representations,
mathematical modeling of systems, and problem solving skills
will be emphasized.
