HE 255 - Global Health & Sustainability
This course will expand students knowledge of global health issues and to increase student's awareness and understanding of difference, power, and privilege, and its relationship to health and well-being. The course will include the following topics: Infectious Diseases, Food Production and Issues, Environmental Health, Health Care systems. The Impact of Socioeconomic and Political Issues on Health, and Cultural Differences and Practices in Relationship to Health and Well-being.
