G 102 - Earth's Dynamic Surface |
This course centers on the dynamic processes that sculpt the
Earth's surface. These processes include weathering and
erosion, and sediment deposition by water, wind, ice, and
mass-wasting. Lab work typically includes an overview of
common minerals and rocks, and using topographic maps and
aerial photos to identify landforms and understand
landscapes. See additional information about this sequence
of geology courses in description for G 101.
