DH 237 - Community Dental Health
An introduction to dental public health practices. Emphasis on use of an evidenced based philosophy for acquiring, assessing, interpreting, critically analyzing and incorporating scientific literature into community health practices. The course provides an understanding of basic research and statistical concepts needed for sound community health practices. Electronic databases are used to retrieve current clinical and community relevant instructional materials. Students design a dental health program plan for implementation in spring term.
