DH 238 - Community Dental Health
Preparation of a community dental health portfolio demonstrating implementation of dental health program plans. Included are basic concepts about the community dental health process of care model in relation to the multi-cultural basis of communities. Focus is on identification of dental health problems and sound approaches for their corrections. The role of the dental hygienist as an agent for change is implemented in student-initiated community health promotion projects demonstrating community oral health and information management program competencies.
