CJA 214 - Intro to Forensic Science |
This course is designed to meet vocational and career
requirements. It is recommended for peace officers, public
safety employees and second-year Criminal Justice majors.
The course is designed to include modern techniques employed
in the investigation of major crimes; the value and
significance of physical evidence; how to collect and
preserve physical evidence at crime scenes; understanding of
criminal laboratory methods, procedures in analyzing
physical evidence; the use and investigation of all types of
laboratory equipment for the analysis of crime scene
evidence; and a familiarization with effective preparation
of physical evidence for trial.
