ART 281 - Painting: Introduction
A beginning course in painting for the student with no significant previous training. The medium used will be oil or acrylic pigments. The student will be introduced to the basic technical skills of painting, the physical properties and manipulation of the materials, as well as the composition and color knowledge needed for intermediate-level painting courses. Several simple painting compositions will be completed. Repeatable.
