Prerequisites: CS 161J (formerly CS 161) or CIS 125G or CS 160 or MTH 095 or higher or instructor consent.
This course is an introduction to software design, development and testing. It covers basic syntax and semantics of C++, data types, and algorithm and program design. Development tools and object-oriented programming are introduced. Note: CS 161C+ was formerly numbered CS 133G. A student who has taken this class under the previous number may not take it again under this new number and receive duplicate credit.
