FR 150 - First-Year French |
First in a two-term "semi-intensive," accelerated sequence. Introduction to French in the context of French-speaking cultures, with an emphasis on oral communication (listening and speaking) and some reading and writing. Students learn basic grammar structures, vocabulary, and cultural information. Prior language study in French or another language strongly recommended. Computer lab work required.
