HIT 154 - Introduction to Disease Processes |
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Human Body Systems 1 (HO150) and Human Body Systems 2 (HO152), or BI231, BI232, and BI233 (all three with grades of C or higher); or instructor consent. Provides an overview of human disease in terms of general vocabulary, overall frequency and significance of disease, and diagnostic approach including laboratory resources. Course covers basic pathologic processes; diseases of organs and organ systems; discussion of some multisystem diseases and disease processes. This course will be offered online during the academic year.
