Prerequisite: WR 121.
An introduction to basic principles in scripting for interactive media. Focuses on writing techniques which foster interactivity, and explores the role of authoring tools in the design of multimedia projects. It defines the stages involved in the development of multimedia projects and addresses the skills necessary to write a proposal, develop a flow chart, and storyboard a short multimedia project involving text, graphics, illustrations, animation, video, sound, links, and search mechanisms. May be offered through Distance Learning.
