PH 212 - General Physics with Calculus |
PH 212 is the second term of a calculus-based, three-term sequence providing an introduction to fundamental physics concepts, analysis, exploration, calculation and problem-solving that are required for engineering and physics majors, and also meets any General Physics requirements for other health, mathematics, computer science and science majors. This course focuses on conceptual understanding and exploration, visual and mathematical representation, calculation, and problem-solving. This course introduces rotational motion, fluid pressure and Bernoulli's equation, oscillatory motion, and fundamentals of waves, sound, and light. The class includes labs, demonstrations, discussion, and individual and group activities.
