College-level reading and writing skills (a passing grade in WR 115 or placement into WR 121) are strongly recommended for success in this course.
This course explores science fiction, fantasy and speculative futures through literary and popular fiction, film and guest authors. Discussions of content, styles, techniques and conventions of the genre will be central to the course.
