This course provides an orientation for students who are
considering programs of study and careers in the computing
field. It describes the degree and certification programs
available to students, the knowledge and skills needed for
entry level positions, the computer industry job market,
current trends in the computer industry, and professional
development and ethical issues that confront employees.
Course sections may be tailored to specific degree programs.
