HDFS 226 - Child Development
Study of the physical, social-emotional, and intellectual development of the child from birth through adolescence. Some emphasis on prenatal development and influences. A survey of various child-study approaches. Instruction and experience in observing and recording the behavior of young children. Study of adult-child differences, value of play, and discipline. Required for ECE majors.
