| RD 089 - Academic Reading for ELL Students |

Department consent required. Corequisite: WR089. This course is for English language learners. Students will learn active reading strategies such as finding the main idea and supporting details. Students will develop techniques for expanding their vocabulary and creating study tools. Readings will include both advanced ESL texts as well as authentic readings.
