ECE 160 - Exploring Early Childhood Curriculum
Prerequisite: ECE 110 Students will gain understanding and experience in planning daily and weekly program activities for young children. There is an emphasis on planning appropriate experiences based on observation of children and knowledge of early childhood learning strategies. Students will plan a variety of curriculum experiences which are developmentally appropriate for preschool-age children. Students will study types and benefits of play as the basis of curriculum planning. Included will be a study of math methods and materials.
