Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Locate information about words in context from bound and on-line dictionaries 2. Examine reading selections to find main idea, supporting details, transitions, and patterns of organization 3. Mark text selectively and ask questions of the text 4.
